BFI Made in Britain: Warp Films at 10 season

Beginning 29 March, the BFI celebrate 10 years of Warp Films with a dedicated season which will include the London premiere of the Dead Man's Shoes Live Rescore, retrospective screenings of Warp Films titles, Short film screening event, a BUG music event and more.

This is England with Live Score

BFI Southbank, London – Friday 19th October.

A special screening of Shane Meadow’s This Is England in partnership with The BFI London Film Festival and Sonic Cinema. The film will be scored live by original composer Ludivico Einaudi with regular Meadows collaborator Gavin Clark.

Warp Films masterclass at Aesthetica Short Film Festival

Friday 9 November.

Barry Ryan, Head of Production for Warp Films will be talking about the latest in film production and provide tips for the best way to get ahead in the business. Drawing on his own experiences in the industry, he will offer insights into what the future looks like for filmmakers. This master class is a must for anyone looking to produce a film in today's market. ASFF will also be screening a selection of short films produced by Warp Films.

Warp Films retrospective

Showroom Cinema, Sheffield - Friday 2 - 9 November.

The Showroom will be screening various Warp Films productions from the last ten years, including a This is England marathon, with select films accompanied with Q&A's, music and more.

Warp Films will be throwing a 10th anniversary party including an exclusive screening of Dead Man’s Shoes re-scored live by Gavin Clark and special guests, also featuring special screenings from the Warp Films back catalogue (including Ben Wheatley’s Kill List), live music acts, DJ sets from Warp Films directors & Tom Ravenscroft and much more.
